International Open Access Week 2024

From October 21 to 27, International Open Access Week 2024 is celebrated, an annual initiative to promote open access in the academic and research world. This year's theme is "Community or Commercialization" and aims to foster an honest conversation about approaches to open science that prioritize the best interests of the public and the academic community, and those that do not, and offers the 'opportunity to unite, act and raise awareness about the importance of community control of knowledge exchange systems.
To disseminate and learn the benefits of publishing in open access, the CRAI has prepared several activities:
- Webinar " Open Science"

- A guide on International Open Access Week, where you can find, among other content, the Open Access Game, a question and answer game to learn the main aspects of open access in an easy and fun way.
- Open Access Corners. Centers of interest in the different campus CRAIs with the aim of spreading open access among the university community. They can be visited at the following campus CRAIs (all week during opening hours):
